The industrial strength epoxy products we use will not wear off. We apply the epoxy coatings in multiple layers to guarantee satisfaction, unlike the kits bought in local box stores that typically use a one coat system. None the less, some of the epoxy flooring we offer will start to show a wear pattern of the tires coming in and out of the garage after 8 to 10 years.

I have seen floors 20 years old but it really depends on the environment that it is in. If you're doing welding or dropping heavy objects on it, it's going to show more wear than if you're just parking on it.

On average it will take 3 to 4 days for installation plus 2 or 3 days for cure time. Special epoxy projects take longer.

The cleaning process is simple. First, use a soft bristle broom to sweep the loose debris and pick up with a dustpan. Then, with a sponge mop ( I prefer) go over the floor with warm water and a small amount of an all-purpose cleaner (I recommend Simple Green). Afterwards, go over again with clean water. For tougher stains use a stiff bristle brush to scrub those stubborn stains.

We do not sell epoxy flooring material. For most of the products we use, you have to be certified to install.

Price is determined on the project but a ballpark price for a basic 3 coat system is around $2,000.

It can become slippery if there are puddles of water. We do put an aggregate in the top epoxy coat to reduce the risk of slip hazards. The more aggregate we apply, the more difficult it may be to clean.

We prepare the concrete mechanically with diamond grinders. This is an all dry process that opens up the concrete allowing the materials to soak in like a sponge, avoiding the hot tire lift that may occur with other types of preparations.

We warranty everything for 5 years, but typically a professional grade epoxy flooring will last much longer.
